The Colchester
Buddhist Centre had its beginnings in 1988. We now have a large
building near the centre of Colchester, with several rooms on the
ground floor and basement.

We offer the
opportunity to learn meditation and engage with Buddhism in the
company of like-minded people.
We are a centre
of the Friends of
the Western Buddhist Order and are committed to providing the
friendly, supportive conditions needed to meditate, comtemplate
and appreciate what Buddhism can offer the individual.
The Wednesday
evening class and structured meditation courses are especially suited
for newcomers.
