Sunday 21st April 10:00am - 4:30pm. Led by Silanatha.
The day will be spent mostly in silence alternating between sitting meditation and walking meditation. Each sit will be relatively short (around 30-40 minutes long) so the day will be suitable for anyone who has learnt the two meditations taught at the centre

* All of our day events run a “bring and share” style lunch, so please bring food to share. All food brought into the centre must be vegetarian, but as many of those attending will be vegan, we suggest vegan only food.
The day will be suitable to anyone who is familiar with the two meditations taught at the centre. But be aware there will be a total of several hours of meditation in the day, so you will need to be a keen meditator!
No - just turn up!
Since this is a practice day, it is best to come for the whole day.
We can never have enough of the basics: things like salad, bread, hummus, crisps and fruit always go down well.
A pūjā is a traditional Buddhist ritual that includes chanting and making offerings.
It is possible that there will be several people who have never done pūjā before so we will be sure to give an introduction.
All of our events are run on a donation basis. There is no set charge, we just ask you to give what you can to support the day. The suggested amount for this event is £12.
