An event for women
Sunday 02nd June 10:00am - 5:00pm. Led by Atulyamati and Bodhilehi..
“Our task is to free ourselves from the prison of delusion by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” Albert Einstein
|10:00am||Arrive and Introduction|
|12:00pm||Introduction to Tara's Compassionate Action|
|12:45pm||The World needs Tara!|
|14:30pm||What can we do?|
* All of our day events run a “bring and share” style lunch, so please bring food to share. All food brought into the centre must be vegetarian, but as many of those attending will be vegan, we suggest vegan only food.
Everyone is welcome, but the day will be especially suitable for those know the stages to the two meditations taught at the centre.
We can never have enough of the basics: things like salad, bread, hummus, crisps and fruit always go down well.
No - just turn up!
Of course! Many people who come for half the day will come just for the morning, leaving at lunch time, or the other way around. But you're welcome to come for whatever parts of the day you can make - just try to turn up at one of the times on the programme so we're not in the middle of an activity.
A pūjā is a traditional Buddhist ritual that includes chanting and making offerings.
It is probable that there will be several people who have never done pūjā before so we will be sure to give an introduction.
All of our events are run on a donation basis. There is no set charge, we just ask you to give what you can to support the event.
We're just off St. Botolph's Roundabout, across from the Colchester Town Station, just to the left of Mersea Road. Parking is available in Britannia Car Park (behind the station) for £1 or Napier Road Car Park (first right off Mersea Road) for £2.50.Find Us
